ACH Payments

Peoples Reserve uses the ACH (Automated Clearing House) network to securely collect payments from customers for their Self-Repaying Mortgages (SRM) and Home Equity Bitcoin Lines of Credit (HEBLOCs). This guide explains how ACH works, how to make your payment, and important timing reminders to ensure your loan stays in good standing.

What is ACH?

ACH is a U.S.-based electronic payment system that transfers funds directly from your bank account to Peoples Reserve’s Real Estate Equity Fund. It is the same network used for bill pay, payroll, and direct transfers, making it a trusted and efficient way to handle recurring loan payments.

How Payments Work

  1. Payment setup: During your loan onboarding, you will provide your bank account and routing number for ACH transfers.
  2. Submitting payment: Each month, you send your payment directly from your bank account to the Peoples Reserve Real Estate Equity Fund using ACH.
    1. Processing: ACH transfers are batched and processed through the banking system, which can take several business days(3-5 days).
  3. Application: Once cleared, your payment is applied to your SRM or HEBLOC loan balance.

Payment Timing

To avoid late payments or processing delays, please follow these timing guidelines:

  • Submit your ACH payment at least 5 business days before the end of each month.
  • This ensures the transfer clears in time and your account remains current.
  • Payments submitted too close to the deadline may not process before the due date, resulting in late fees or missed payment status.
