Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. In addition to your password, you’ll use a one-time code sent to your phone or generated by an authentication app to log in. This article explains how to set up 2FA.

How to Enable 2fa

1. Navigate to PeoplesReserve.com and Log In.
2. Click or mouseover your Profile in the top left corner of the screen to open up your Profile Menu.
3. Click "Settings"
4. Click the drop down menu next to "Two-Factor authentication."
5. Click "Enable" under the "Two-Factor Authentication" drop down menu.
6. Write down your "Secret code," this will be used in case you lose access to your authenticator.
NOTE: DO NOT Share this "Secret code" with ANYONE.
7. Open your preferred authentication app and scan the QR code, then input the code from your authenticator.
8. Congratulations! You've enabled Two-Factor Authentication!
Troubleshooting
- If codes are not working, make sure your device’s time is synced correctly.
- If you don’t receive SMS messages, confirm that your phone number is up to date.
- Use backup codes if you lose access to your 2FA method.
