Before You Try Again
The Swap Engine displays your swap rate and estimated fee before you confirm. If your swap did not complete, start by verifying the details you selected.
- Confirm the asset you want to swap from and the asset you want to receive
- Confirm the amount you entered
- Review the rate and fee shown before confirmation
Common Reasons a Swap May Not Complete
Swaps happen inside your PRN account and are designed to be instant. If your swap did not complete, it is typically due to one of the following:
- The swap was not confirmed: The swap is only completed after you select Confirm Swap.
- The swap details changed before confirmation: Rates and fees are shown before you confirm and may update.
- The action did not fully submit: Your session may not have successfully completed the final confirmation step.
What You Should Do Next
- Check your balances: Confirm whether the “from” asset decreased and the “to” asset increased.
- Return to the Swap Engine: Re-enter the swap details and review the rate and fee again.
- Confirm once: If you try again, confirm the swap a single time to avoid accidentally placing multiple swaps.
When to Contact Support
Contact Peoples Reserve Support if:
- You believe you confirmed the swap, but your balances did not change
- You are unsure whether the swap completed and want help confirming the result
- You think you may have submitted the swap more than once
When contacting support, include:
- The assets you attempted to swap (for example, BTC to prUSD)
- The approximate amount
- The date and time you attempted the swap
- Any screenshots of the Swap Engine confirmation screen (if available)
