This article explains how to complete Level 2 Identity Verification on the Peoples Reserve platform. At this stage, you will provide official government-issued identification (Driver’s License or Passport) and complete a live facial verification scan. This step is required to fully unlock all platform features.
Before You Begin
- Ensure you have a valid Driver’s License or Passport available.
- Make sure your device has a working camera, as you will be required to capture a live selfie during the setup process.
Start Level 2 Verification

Access the ID Verification section
- From the top-right of the screen, under the ID Verification section, click the “Start Level 2 Verification” button.

Enter your ID details
- Choose your ID type: Driver’s License or Passport.
- Enter your ID number.
- Provide your Date of Birth.
- Enter the Date Issued and Date Expiry from your ID.
Upload ID Documents & Take Selfie
Attach your official identity documents and use your device camera to complete the verification. The required steps differ depending on the ID type you selected:
If using a Driver’s License
- Upload a clear photo of the front of your license.
- Upload a clear photo of the back of your license.
- Capture a live identity verification selfie:
- When prompted, grant the application camera access and look directly into your device's camera.
- Take a clear, regular picture of your face. You do not need to hold up your ID or any written notes.
- Ensure your full face is visible, well-lit, and unblocked by items like sunglasses or hats.
If using a Passport
- Upload a clear photo of the photo ID page of your passport.
- Capture a live identity verification selfie:
- When prompted, grant the application camera access and look directly into your device's camera.
- Take a clear, regular picture of your face. You do not need to hold up your passport or any written notes.
- Ensure your full face is visible, well-lit, and unblocked by items like sunglasses or hats.
Terms and Submission
- Review and check the acknowledgement boxes to explicitly agree to the required platform Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and biometric identity verification data consents.
- Click the “Submit” button after all fields are completed, your live selfie is captured, and the terms are accepted.
- Your information and documents will be sent securely to the Peoples Reserve compliance team for review.
Troubleshooting
Upload or Camera not working?
- Ensure each uploaded ID document file is in JPG or PNG format.
- File size for document uploads should be under the maximum limit (typically 10MB).
- If the selfie camera does not open, check your system or browser settings to ensure camera permissions are explicitly granted to the Peoples Reserve platform.
Photo rejected?
- Check that your face is clear, unobstructed, and matches your official ID photo.
- Ensure your surrounding environment is completely clear of severe glare, deep shadows, or background motion during the live camera capture.
- Retake the selfie in better lighting or switch to a mobile device with a higher-resolution camera front lens.

- Clear your browser cache/cookies and retry the submission process from the beginning.
- Try a different device or supported web browser.
